| A ring $R$ is called right CS if every right ideal of $R$ is essential in a direct summand of $R$. This notion has extensively been studied by many authors. In this talk, we report a recent result which gives a sufficient condition for an excellent extension of the ring $R$ to be right CS. As an application, a new family of right CS-rings can be presented as group algebras. |
