| In this colloquium talk, I will give a quick review on the elastic model of DNA, initiated by F. B. Fuller in 1971. And then, I will raise a problem of the elasticity of isotropic, intrinsically curved rods that can be applied to study DNA's sequence-dependent structure. In addition to the answer, there are some nuinerical simulations to show that the answer can be improved further. |
